Rahsaan Thompson is Chair of the Board of Directors of The JUST Society and Chief Legal Officer, Secretary, and Compliance Officer of Zevra Therapeutics (Nasdaq: ZVRA). Thompson has more than 25 years of legal experience spanning corporate governance, clinical studies, intellectual property, licensing, and litigation. Before joining Zevra in 2024, Thompson served as Chief Legal Officer of Lyell Immunopharma and as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Gritstone bio. Thompson also held senior legal roles at Opiant Pharmaceuticals, Actelion Pharmaceuticals, Abraxis BioScience, and McKesson. Earlier, Thompson practiced at Quarles & Brady and served as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia. Thompson is a Trustee of the Oakland Museum of California and a former board member of the American Kidney Fund. Thompson holds a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and a B.S. from Southern Methodist University.

Erik Harris is Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of The JUST Society and Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical (Nasdaq: RARE), where Harris is responsible for all worldwide commercial operations. Harris joined Ultragenyx in 2017 as Senior Vice President, Head of North American Commercial Operations, and was promoted to Chief Commercial Officer in 2019. Previously, Harris spent six years at Crescendo Bioscience, a Myriad Genetics subsidiary, most recently as Vice President of Commercial, leading marketing, sales, managed care, and customer service. Harris also held commercial roles at InterMune, Elan, Genentech, and Bristol Myers Squibb, and has been involved in the launches of Crysvita, Mepsevii, Dojolvi, Tarceva, Tysabri, and Vectra-DA. Harris began as a Lieutenant Commander in Naval Aviation and a Congressional Fellow for the U.S. Navy. Harris serves on the board of Rezolute (Nasdaq: RZLT) and holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy.

Paul Burton, JD, MBA, is Treasurer and Chair of Finance of The JUST Society and Managing Partner of 2Flo Ventures, a Chicago-based startup studio and early-stage healthcare investor. Burton also serves as CEO of Akan Biosciences and CFO of Temprian Therapeutics. Burton has raised more than $6 billion for more than 20 companies. Burton began in investment banking at Salomon Brothers / Citigroup, where Burton executed more than $14 billion in M&A and financing transactions. Burton later co-founded Vivacelle Bio and served as CEO of ResQ Pharma. Burton is also a former U.S. Army infantry officer. Burton is an independent director and Audit Committee Chair of Cardio Diagnostics Holdings (Nasdaq: CDIO), and serves on the boards of Sepsis Alliance and the Ravinia Festival. Burton holds a J.D. and an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and two bachelor's degrees from the University of Illinois Chicago.

Squire Servance is a member of the Board of Directors of The JUST Society and Founder and Managing Partner of Syridex Bio. Syridex builds companies around acquired products and takes undervalued biotech and pharmaceutical companies private. Servance is also Senior Of Counsel in the Patents and Innovations practice at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Servance previously served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Compliance Officer of Repligen. Before that, Servance was Associate General Counsel at Baxter International, leading the global legal team for its pharmaceuticals business. Servance also held legal roles at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. Servance is a Trustee of Rutgers University and The Wistar Institute. Servance holds a J.D. from Duke University School of Law, an MBA from Duke's Fuqua School of Business, and a B.S. in biomedical engineering and cell biology & neuroscience from Rutgers.

Rodney "Rod" Cotton is a member of the Board of Directors of The JUST Society, CEO of Cotton Ventures, LLC, and a Venture Partner at 2Flo Ventures. With more than four decades of executive experience, Cotton has helped startups and established organizations scale, transform culture, and meet investor expectations. Cotton held senior leadership roles at Roche Diagnostics, GlaxoSmithKline, and Baxter International; at Roche, Cotton helped accelerate six diagnostic products in 11 months during the COVID-19 pandemic. Cotton serves on the boards of Castle Biosciences (Nasdaq: CSTL), including its Audit and Compensation Committees, as well as Eisai Pharmaceuticals, Moleculera Biosciences, and Community Health Network, where Cotton is incoming Governance Chair. Cotton also advises General Genomics. Cotton's honors include the Sagamore of the Wabash and recognition among Savoy Magazine's Most Influential Corporate Directors. Cotton holds an MBA from California State University, Dominguez Hills, an M.S. in Strategic Management from USC, and a B.A. from UC Santa Barbara.

Kerry Clem is a member of the Board of Directors of The JUST Society and Managing Director of WLH Consulting and Learning Solutions. A biopharma executive, Clem brings deep experience developing and scaling start-up and emerging growth companies across corporate planning, business development, launch execution, and lifecycle management. Most recently, Clem served as Chief Executive Officer of Solaxa, which Clem joined as Chief Commercial Officer in 2024. As CEO, Clem led Solaxa's February 2026 agreement granting Alvogen worldwide rights to SLX-100, with up to $95 million in milestones plus double-digit royalties. Previously, Clem spent nearly 14 years at Acorda Therapeutics, rising from Senior Vice President of Sales to Chief Commercial Officer. At Acorda, Clem held P&L responsibility for a multi-asset portfolio, oversaw ex-U.S. alliances, and led commercial strategy for Ampyra, which exceeded $3 billion in cumulative sales. Earlier, Clem held sales leadership roles at Allos Therapeutics, Solstice Neurosciences, and MGI Pharma/Guilford Pharmaceuticals. Clem holds a B.S. from Florida State University.

Joseph "Joe" Drayton is a member of the Board of Directors of The JUST Society. Drayton is a Partner in the Litigation Department of Proskauer Rose LLP in New York, where Drayton co-heads the Patent Law practice. Drayton has more than 25 years of experience in intellectual property litigation. That work includes a trial win for a medical device maker in a spinal fusion patent case, favorable jury verdicts, and successful ITC outcomes. Before joining Proskauer in 2023, Drayton was an IP litigation partner at Cooley and earlier practiced at Kaye Scholer. Drayton served as the 76th President of the National Bar Association and received its highest honor, the C. Francis Stradford Award. Drayton also sits on the ABA Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary. Drayton holds a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland.

Kirk Taylor, M.D., is a member of the Board of Directors of The JUST Society and President & CEO of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC). Taylor was appointed by the Healey-Driscoll administration in 2024. At MLSC, Taylor launched the Impact Catalyst Program, which funds high-risk translational research. A neurologist by training, Taylor has held senior roles in biopharma. Taylor was Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of BrainStorm Cell Therapeutics and Chief Medical Officer of Finch Therapeutics. Taylor also led medical affairs at Verastem Oncology and at EMD Serono in North America, where Taylor oversaw three product launches. Taylor also held senior medical roles at Biogen, Pfizer, and Sanofi Genzyme. Taylor was named to the PharmaVoice 100 in 2023. Taylor holds an A.B. from Harvard College and an M.D. from SUNY Downstate. Taylor completed neurology residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a fellowship at UCSF.

Mel Hayes is a member of the Board of Directors of The JUST Society and Co-Founder of AiRare by Lumiio, an AI-driven platform that builds collaborative disease ecosystems for rare disease patients and life sciences companies. Hayes brings three decades of development and commercialization experience across hematology, neurology, cardiovascular, and neuromuscular diseases, including P&L responsibility for specialty businesses of up to $1.5 billion. Most recently, Hayes served as Chief Operating Officer of Fulcrum Therapeutics (Nasdaq: FULC), after joining as Chief Commercial Officer in 2021. Previously, Hayes was Vice President and Global Head, Commercial Hemophilia & Complement at Sanofi Genzyme, and held senior hematology roles at Bioverativ, Shire, Baxalta, and Baxter. Earlier, Hayes spent 11 years at Bayer HealthCare and began at Bristol Myers Squibb. Hayes serves on the boards of the FSHD Society and the Global FSHD Innovation Hub and advises 2Flo Ventures and Ilerabio. Hayes holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BBA and BA from Southern Methodist University.
